Modern Standard Arabic classes are available throughout the year at the Taa Marbouta Language Centre.
Our new intensive format runs for six weeks, with 120 hours total and 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The programme now includes one full day trip and one themed workshop at no extra fee. These components are designed to combine structured classroom learning with real-life cultural immersion.
We have developed our own curriculum for Modern Standard Arabic, tailored to place Tunisia and North Africa at the center of study. The programme integrates all four key skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, within authentic cultural contexts. While we value established Arabic learning resources such as al-Kitaab, Alif Baa, Elementary Modern Standard Arabic, and Media Arabic: An Essential Vocabulary, our approach brings the Tunisian and Maghrebi dimension to the forefront.
We remain flexible and responsive to the goals of advanced learners and those following specific university curricula, with a proven record of adapting our programme to fit institutional requirements.
Students, parents, university teams, and partner institutions can book a 30-minute meeting with Iyed, our Head of Business Development, to discuss the programme, packages, internships, accommodation, and next steps.
For more information about the student experience, cultural activities, daily life in La Marsa, and what students can expect outside the classroom, visit our Student Life section.
Our internship service helps students connect their Arabic studies with meaningful field experience in Tunisia. Placements can be explored across civil society, NGOs, education, migration, women’s rights, youth empowerment, policy research, environment, media, culture, and social innovation, depending on the student profile and partner availability.
This section can be used to highlight universities, schools, organisations, and institutional partners connected to Taa Marbouta programmes, student referrals, academic mobility, or collaborative projects.
